Community
 St Mary Magdalen's is well known for being at the centre of a large
and lively community, and it is not surprising that lots of people
are involved in running the church and the many groups organised around
it.
Sunday masses are brought to life by the folk
group and choir, while
younger children go to the liturgy in the neighbouring church hall.
The priest is assisted by a large group of altar
servers and readers,
and of course people are always required to count
the collection and
clean the church between services.
Also associated with the church are the Montessori
School, which takes
place in the church hall, and the neighbouring Primary
School in Worple Street.
New people are always welcome in any of these groups, or just come
along to mass - you'll be sure of a friendly welcome.
